Brilliant pool, parking on site. Air conditioning and coffee available in the double room. The stunning and gorgeous location for the price, very close to Wye valley and South Wales as well as the restaurant & bar.

The hotel provided an excellent experience with its spacious superior double room, peaceful and beautifully landscaped grounds, and excellent dining options including a well-presented full Welsh breakfast with high-quality ingredients. The staff were attentive, particularly during our afternoon tea in the elegantly decorated Laura Ashley room.
WiFi was weak in the room, and the spa was closed for refurbishment .

Large car park.
Lack of any interest in us as guests, which prompted us to leave after one night instead of staying for three. Plus the sauna was out of order even though I had checked that all was working- no apology, and no interest as to why we were leaving two days early.

The hotel is in a stunning location in beautiful grounds and the staff really looked after us and our room was newly decorated and huge! The meal we had in the evening was out of this world with local produce on the menu and the breakfast to die for. The swimming pool and spa facilities just made the stay extra special.

Location of hotel
I am not sure that we would describe our room as "superior"and the extra amount paid was worth it.Mind you we did not see the standard rate rooms so cannot compare.

Friendly staff and comfy bed! Nice setting!
Expensive evening meal that wasn't very nice. Just the little things like empty tea and coffee facilities, no flannel or toiletries, broken shower that let it down! Not the cleanest but not the dirtiest hotel either- I would stay again though but I wouldn't dine in house! X

Nice room in the main building, country style with modern touches
Poor quality of service, outside tables not cleared of glasses of food.

The location was excellent . Spa arear was reasonable although steam room was out of order.
Breakfast was self service & some foods were not available, the reason being given as "we are busy today" We felt the cost of the accomodation was expensive for what we rec'd.

easy access to historic sites and lovely park views
i really enjoyed my stay at this lovely hotel, as it offered an easy walk to the nearby Llangybi Castle, just almost 2 km away, and beautiful park views, made my morning strolls so refreshing.

The rooms we had were lovely very clean and well presented. The food in the resturant was very tasty also presented beautifully.
The service in the resturant for the evening meal was very slow. the surrounding outside area was not kept very well, especially the spar/pool area everywhere needed a good weeding and powerwash!!! The bar is not very lively due to the constant re-play of sky news on the television (not a good atmosphere for a bar)..
